Nightly, after dinner and all chores are done , it is time to relax. My husband and I enjoy a glass of red wine and dark chocolate. This is my favorite time of the day. Together we are turning our back yard into an organic garden, using the compost pile to fertilizer our fruits and vegetables. I have made beautiful cotton shopping bags for my friends and myself from my accumulate fabric stash and recycled clothing. I continue to recycle cans, plastics, papers. Since, I retired two years ago I have my the above changes in my living. I have my own community project I pick up trash all around my neighborhood. This is my effort to live green.
